Complete Guide to the 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
The 2020 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival was scheduled to run from March 4th to June 1st, 2020. Walt Disney World had to close its doors on March 12th and at this time we do not know when they will reopen. Many people look forward to the Flower and Garden Festival each year so I decided to go ahead and publish this post for those who wanted to see what incredible topiaries, delicious foods and one-of-a-kind merch was present at the annual this year.
We were able to attend the festival on opening day, and we tried a variety of global cuisine and refreshing beverages. Our hope is that this guide will let you virtually enjoy the festival in the event that Disney World does not open in time for you to enjoy it.

Festival Information
- Festival passports are given out during the festival. These can be found both at the front entrances of the park.
- The festival had a Garden Rocks concert series scheduled throughout the duration of the festival.
- Epcot is helping to promote suitability by selling ‘Spike the Bee’ sporks that can be purchased for $2.50. Use this reusable spork to cut down on waste.
- You could earn a complimentary item from the Pineapple Promenade (found in the Showcase Plaza) by purchasing 5 menu items from any of the five Garden Graze locations. You’ll receive a stamp for each purchase. All 5 stamps do not have to be collected on the same visit, but you must redeem the complimentary item before the festival ends on June 1st, 2020.
- Beer flights were available at some of the Food and Beverage locations.

Activities for the Kids
There are several interactive gardens where the kids can explore. Be sure to visit the NEW garden location ‘The Goodness Garden Butterfly House located near The Land. The kids can see several butterfly species up close and learn all about their life cycles. This garden closes at dusk so be sure to visit during the day.

There are also two interactive playgrounds; Bo Peep’s Playtime Training Grounds and Play Full Garden where the kids can play while you enjoy a refreshing drink! These are located at Future World East and West.

Discounted Disney World Tickets
For my last two trips to Disney World, I’ve purchased my park tickets and reserved my resort stay through Get Away Today. Their customer service was top notch and they had the best price on Disney tickets! They reached out after my ticket purchase to see if I needed any assistance with booking the Magical Express, Fast Passes or any dining experiences. I now recommend them to EVERYONE!
