Delicious Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread
There are certain foods that I enjoy baking because the aroma from the oven fills the house and builds anticipation. Banana bread is a classic treat that I remember eating when I was younger. Now, I love baking this bread with my three daughters!
Another great thing about banana bread is that it can be enjoyed any time of day. I try to bake enough so that we can enjoy it for breakfast and then as an after-school snack. I prefer banana bread with additional ingredients such as nuts or chocolate chips, however, my favorite way to jazz the original recipe is to add cinnamon and sugar.
First, combine bananas, butter, super, egg, vanilla. Mix well. Next, add the salt and baking soda. To complete the mixture, add in the flour.
The next step is to pour half the batter into your baking dish.
In a small bowl mix together cinnamon and sugar. Put sprinkle a generous amount on the first layer of batter.
Finally, add the last layer of batter and the final layer of the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Allow it to cool before removing it from the baking dish.
