Guest Post: My Mayne Wardrobe

Today I’m excited to introduce you to a blogger you should definitely add to your ‘follow’ list, her name is Janel at My Mayne Wardrobe. There are a few things I am good at but FASHION is NOT one of them! I can use all the help I can get. As a busy mom, I need functional, affordable, easy outfit ideas that can help me transform from daily life to nightlife in a few easy steps. I’m very excited because Janel has done just that!

I met Janel last year and I was instantly impressed because she is so kindhearted. She has a desire to help other women feel and look their best with items they already have in their closets. Her style is chic and affordable!  Here is a little more information about Janel;

“Hi! My name is Janel Mayne and I am the creator of My Mayne Wardrobe. I am an Occupational therapist by day and lover all things fashion and style by night. My blog is about helping women build and add to their main wardrobe!! This includes styling basics, outfit ideas for certain occasions, and styling items more than one way that you may already have in your closet.

I also use this space to share my faith, which is very important to me, travel, and other events that may occur in my life. I want women to feel inspired and empowered by their closet and walk away from my page feeling encouraged and learning something new.”

3 quick and easy ways to style leggings from drab to fab! By Janel at My Mayne Wardrobe

Leggings are probably the greatest piece of clothing ever created as far as I am concerned when it comes to comfort. The stretchy material has a slimming effect, camouflaging our imperfections and most importantly easy to move in!! Stick to a black pair because it is neutral and can be paired with anything in your wardrobe!!
Picture this… You get home from running around all day in your leggings. You set down your keys, about to unwind and you get an impromptu call from hubby or boyfriend who says, “I made last minute dinner reservations get ready in an hour!!! WHAT!!! Oh no!!
You are in a pinch, standing there in your leggings and probably tennis shoes, thinking what the heck am I going to throw together in an hour. Well fear not, I have you covered. I am going to give you three style ideas that are practical, functional, and easy and the best part is, you probably have half of these items in your closet!
So let’s take that outfit from drab to fab and get on with the first look.

  1. Thank you so very much??? I love your style. I live in small town where it’s fashionable to wear pjs and slippers. Kid you not.. ok I’ve done it once.
    I’m retired after 25 years and still like dressing chic casual. Jeans, leggings and trying to wear sneakers just not a sneaker girl. My favorite jeans not your daughter jeans that actually hit belly button. Expensive but great buy Nordstrom rack.
    Do you ever do the roll up cuff? I’m not sure about the “rules”
    Have a great day and thx for sharing.
