Drive-Thru Safari Texas Adventure
We have taken our kids on lots of different activities such as cave exploring, hiking through the forest, snorkeling in the ocean, and most recently, we went to our first drive-thru Safari. I must say, this experience landed on one of the top spots on my ‘most fun’ list! Animal adventures are great and I highly recommend visiting Cherokee Trace near Jacksonville, TX.
This adventure is entertaining for the whole family! From your youngest family member to your oldest, everyone will have a great time! The drive is beautiful through this 300-acre preserve. There are a few simple and easy to follow rules and the staff is very helpful.
Better Than The Zoo
I have always enjoyed taking my kids to the Zoo because it gives them a chance to observe animals that they don’t normally get to see, however, this drive-thru Safari was much better than any trip to the Zoo. There are so many reasons why I loved this experience. First of all, you enjoy the whole visit from the comfort of your car, this means there is no running after kids (whew)!
The animals are friendly and eager to approach the vehicle! I was so happy when we got to the Zebras, I was just as excited as the kids! When you arrive at the park you are given a bag of food per person and there are additional bags available for purchase, they also provide you with a list of all the animals you will see and some information about them. This was our first visit but it will certainly not be our last! I had so much fun and I can’t wait to return!
