I really love easy and simple DIY projects. When I can create something new I want it to reflect my style and personality, that’s the beauty of a personal art project. I wanted a new Fall/Winter piece for my front door. I chose bright colors so that it would stand out during the winter months when all the trees lose their beautiful autumn colors.
This wreath was easy and simple to put together. I bought all of my supplies at Hobby Lobby and most of the items were on sale! Don’t forget that Hobby Lobby has a 40% off coupon on their website that you can use for an item that’s not on sale, you don’t have to print it, just pull it up on your phone! Below is a picture of all the items that I purchased.
I took my time and played around with the placement of all the different elements. It was like putting together a puzzle. First, I used picture hanging wire to secure the Welcome sign onto the wreath. Next, I cut all of the flowers and leaves and placed them around the welcome sign. Finally, I covered the door hanger with the burlap bow and VOILA it was finished! See I told you it was simple! Here is the finished product:
