The Story Behind the Smile – Teeth Whitening Review

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to anything that I do for myself, it has to fit into my busy schedule. Why It Was Important to Me
I’ll give you a brief history of my dental health. I’m in my thirties and I’ve never had a cavity! Growing up I would see a dentist regularly and I was always told I did not need braces. I was pretty proud of my teeth until I became a coffee drinker in my late 20’s. That’s when I started to notice the dreaded “coffee stains” on my teeth. This was something that really bothered me since I’d tried so hard to maintain my bright smile! I tried a few of the whitening strips but none of the results were that impressive to me.
Raising three girls has really helped me to see the value of self-esteem and how important it is for us to feel confident in both our inner and outer beauty. Often times, the way we act if a reflection of how we’re feeling. I do my best to remind my girls of their beautiful qualities inside and out. Because the health and appearance of my teeth were so important to me I decided to try out a whitening system.
How Does the Teeth Whitening Process Work?
Let me walk you through what would happen if you ordered the whitening system from Smile Brilliant. I’m the type of consumer who wants to read lots of reviews and know all the details before I purchase something. I’m happy to share my experience.
Step One:
After you order the system and your box comes in the mail you’re going to make your dental impressions. The Smile Brilliant system works to whiten your teeth using custom-fitted trays. This process takes about 15 minutes. I won’t lie, when my box came in I felt a little overwhelmed when I realized how important it was to make a “good impression” (haha, just a little teeth whitening humor). Making the impressions was actually much easier than I thought it was going to be.
Step Two:
Once you mail off your impressions than a lab will receive them, and they’ll begin to work on your custom-fitted trays. They craft an exact model of your teeth. My trays fit perfectly when I got them back! This part of the process takes about 3-5 business days.
Step Three:
The final and easiest part of the process is next. Once you receive your trays it’s important to develop a whitening routine. I used mine before bed each night (this is recommended). You’ll use two different gels (that will be sent to you) in your trays when you wear them. The first gel is a WHITENING GEL which is then followed by the DESENSITIZING GEL. It’s very important for you to test this part of the process out to see what works best for you.
If you experience sensitivity, you’ll want to reduce the amount of time that you wear the trays. After a couple of sessions, I did realize that I would need to adjust my routine due to sensitivity. The tip I was given was to try taking a day off in between whitening, and on those days off, just use the DESENSITIZING GEL and this really worked for me!
It takes the average person between 7-14 treatments to remove all stains! Which for me meant only a few weeks to help restore the bright smile I had been missing!

Would I Recommend Using Teeth Whitening Trays?
Yes! I needed something that was going to work well and would fit into my daily routine. There are also pros and cons to the tray method that I’ve listed below.
Pros:
