5 Reasons Why You Should Add New Caledonia to Your Bucket List
New Caledonia made it on our bucket list a couple of years ago when I was researching the most pristine beaches in the world and I came across photos of the most incredible blue water I’ve ever seen. I knew right away that I would want to visit the islands one day.
After researching this destination I’ve come up with 5 reasons why you would want to visit and I hope that you’ll be able to visit this beautiful place someday soon!
1. You Can Visit 5 Different Regions in One Trip
I love variety, especially when I travel. I want to soak up as many different sights as I can and while I may love the ocean my husband prefers not to lay on the beach all day so we compromise by finding destinations that suits us both.

–The West Coast of the mainland which is known for cattle farming and a beautiful lagoon.
–The East Coast which is home to the central mountain range of the Mainland.

–The Islands of New Caledonia each have their own character. There are 5 islands that border the mainland and each has something different to offer.
Now you see why New Caledonia refers to themselves as “one trip, many worlds”.

The lagoon is one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world,. It’s home hundreds of underwater wildlife species, corals and plant species. Of course, there are so many questions that come up when planning a vacation to faraway travel destinations. One of those being “how do we get there?”.
