Family Date Night in Dallas, Texas
Date nights with my husband are always a special treat, however, some nights we want to go out with the kids. Now that they are getting older we enjoy taking them on date nights with us. Recently, we visited Medieval Times in Dallas, Tx and enjoyed a night of food, fun, and family (the 3 ingredients to a perfect date night).
I must admit this was my very FIRST visit to Medieval Times. Even as a kid I had always wanted to visit this dinner show. When my family was invited to come see the brand new show, where the Queen is in charge, I knew it was time to go!
What To Expect
Once you enter the front doors of the castle you step into a whole new world. The decor, lighting and people help set the stage for an unforgettable night. Our girls walked around soaking in all the sights and anticipating the start of the show. You can also purchase some adult beverages before and during the show (I highly recommend the margarita).
Once we found our seating we were excited to dive into a delicious meal! Our waiter was incredible, he had a fun and entertaining personality, I should refer to him as the Chris Pratt of Medieval times because it was crazy how much he resembled the actor. The staff plays a large role in making it an enjoyable experience.
My favorite part of any activity is the food! Our kids loved eating with their hands while watching the show play out before them. I took time to watch their little faces light us as the horses and their riders came out to perform.
I don’t want to spoil the show for you with too many details so I’ll just say this, you must check it out for yourself!
